Fall and a Time to Reflect

Southwest Print Fiesta
It’s Fall and it’s my favorite time of year. This is the time to start planning for family get togethers and the cooler temperatures inspire me to make soup.  It is also a time for reflection for me.
Lately my printmaking practice has dominated my time as I continue to explore hybrid ideas.  This really just means that I’m combining different techniques in one print.  I feel that this is where contemporary printmaking is headed anyway.
This month I attended the Southwest Print Fiesta as a vender which was fun and I had some sales which is always good.  Last month was an annual show here in Las Cruces which I also did for the first time, The Franciscan Festival of Arts.  There is always a good turnout to that show which allows Art and Crafts to be shown and sold.  I believe there were 63 artists booths to explore.
On this page is one of my newest woodcut relief prints titled “Pods”. It is now available for sale but the edition is small. Please contact me if you have questions or you have interest on a piece.  I hope the upcoming holidays will be happy for you.
 Thanks for reading!   Noël
