This installation was created to demonstrate and reflect on how Covid-19 has disrupted our lives. Each vignette symbolizes a home where individuals of various ethnicities are housed. Text on the bricks repeat "Stay Home" and "Wash Your Hands", words that were repeated to us non-stop during the year 2020. As people were faced with uncertainty and fear, I noticed many were seeking help on a spiritual level with prayers. The large scale prayer box also has symbols of prayers escaping to their destination.
